Christopher M. Leedom

Mr. Christopher Leedom is the founder and President of the Leedom Group of Companies. The Leedom Group includes Leedom and Associates, LLC, a premier consultancy specializing in used vehicle sales, special finance and buy here-pay here, Leedom Financial Services, LLC, an asset-based lender serving buy here-pay here dealers and AutoMaxx, a dealership serving “unbankable” customers in Sarasota, FL. He is a respected industry leader in the automotive and related finance business. Mr. Leedom was the founder of the original Independent Dealer Twenty Group program in 1995.

Mr. Leedom has authored and developed numerous training programs including the industry renowned Buy Here-Pay Here and Special Finance Training Programs. Additionally he has worked as a coach, consultant and training leader for over 3,500 independent and franchise dealers. In 1996 he founded the National Special Finance and Buy Here-Pay Here Conference, the largest and longest running event for dealers serving the “unbankable” customer, an event that has attracted over 7,500 attendees since inception and is recognized as the premier industry trade show. He is a frequent contributor to Dealer Business Journal, World of Special Finance Magazine, Used Car Dealer Magazine and Used Car News. He is regularly featured as a key speaker at national and state conventions.

Prior to founding the firm of Leedom and Associates, LLC. Chris was a partner and Professional Twenty Group Moderator with NCM Associates (formerly Nichols Campbell Morrow). During his tenure with NCM he formed numerous twenty groups and moderated the Independent Dealer Twenty Groups. Before NCM, Mr. Leedom was the Chief Operating Officer of a holding company with twelve dealership locations and a wholly owned finance company. He has extensive experience in areas of operational management, finance and dealership development and capitalization.
